- Themed as ‘Beyond the Knowledge’, NCSOFT explores new technologies and trends in the game industry.
- NCDP demonstrates company’s corporate culture of sharing knowledge within the entire organization and discovering the passion for game development.
- On April 29 and 30, NCSOFT employees participate at 49 conference sessions, round table debates, game art exhibition and game OST concert.
- Starting this year, NCSOFT will expand the company’s career development program – ‘Next Class Program’ – to all divisions and employees.

PANGYO, Korea (April 29, 2019) – NCSOFT, a global premier game developer and publisher, today announced that the annual festive event ‘NC Developers Party 2019 (NCDP 2019)’ takes place on April 29th and 30th at its Pangyo R&D Center.

NCDP is an event for all employees to come together, share their knowledge and experience in game development as well as exchange their thoughts.

NCDP is more than just a conference. It is a company-wide festival in which all the employees unveil their passion for the game development and mingle with each other from diverse backgrounds.

Taek-Jin Kim, CEO of NCSOFT, said, “At NCDP, we can gather around our collective ideas and thoughts, whereby connecting ourselves within the organization.” He also added, “NCDP will be the arena for everyone at NCSOFT to meet the talented with extraordinary ideas and passion for the games we make.”

Under the slogan of ‘Beyond the Knowledge,’ NCSOFT opens the door for every internal members to a variety of programs at NCDP – to share their game development experience and know-how and to explore new technologies and trends in games.

Everyone at NCSOFT can freely participate in seven (7) different programs in total – Conferences, Roundtable, Art Museum, Sound Concert, Field Trip, NC Party and Project Introduction.

▶NCDP Conferences offer 49 seminars and sessions. It includes 42 seminars by members of NCSOFT – prepared under eight (8) main subjects such as programming, game design, art, sound, artificial intelligence, data research, Lineage M’s development know-how and automation & efficiency. Additionally, there are four (4) general classes and three (3) seminars from experts outside.

▶At Roundtable, open panel discussions will be held on the topic of ‘Enhancing the efficiency in game development’ with six (6) different sub-categories.

▶Art Museum is an exhibition space with character illustrations and art works from NCSOFT’s games and projects. ▶Sound Concert is a band concert playing sound tracks in NCSOFT’s own franchises such as Lineage and Blade & Soul and more.

▶With Field Trip programs, NCSOFT’s very own specialty studios -Sound Studio and 3D Photo Scan Studio – open their doors for those who are interested. These Studios stand for the highest standard and technologies in Korea. ▶NCDP will come to an end with a networking party, NC Party.

▶Project Introduction is a session, where NCSOFT’s diverse projects will be presented to the entire company. It is prepared as a supplementary session for the company’s career development program, Next Class Program.

Next Class Program provides opportunities to embark on the greater growth for both individuals and the entire organization. The Program enables its organizational members to seek for available positions across the company and to pursue further professional growth and new potential in their career under the umbrella of NCSOFT. At the same time, each division and projects will be able to discover and connect with the new talents, resulting in greater synergy for all.

Adopted for game development positions only in 2018, NCSOFT will expand the Next Class Program to all divisions across the company starting this year.
